About Mason Markland Photography

Hey Friends,

I'm your Photographer, Mason Markland. 

I got into photography around 2016. I started taking crappy pictures on my ipod and editing them horribly (looking back) . I continued to take horrific pictures and just simply practiced every day. Eventually I ended up getting a small camera and it was so much fun! I took my camera everywhere and I took pictures of everything and continued to educate myself and keep growing my skill. As my skill,  knowledge, and storage grew I upgraded to a better quality camera and with the experience I had and knowledge I knew I continued to take pictures EVERYWHERE! I took pictures at every school event I was at, all my sister softball games. I was taking pictures of anywhere I explored. I really did not go anywhere without my camera. I was always taking pictures! I had a camera and kept doing what I did. I finally updated to a really nice camera and now I'm still learning and always trying to grow as a business. You never really stop learning that is the art of photography and business alone. During high school I began to really deep dive into my entrepreneurship and photography and started booking shoots and from there I haven't stopped and always am continuing to grow. I truly love my clients and all the shoots I've done.

Outside of photography my life consists of many different activities. I am currently in school for nursing and plan to be a traveling nurse when I graduate. I am also a server and bartender at a country club. I love serving. I think it is a great life skill that EVERYONE should have to do once in their life. If you are or have been a server, you know! I truly want to be able to be a server one day a month at least for the rest of my life. I have no idea why I just enjoy it!  I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends and family and never hesitate to have too much fun. I love spending time at my cabin at Yough Lake. I love a good sunburn, swimming, being with family, fishing, boat rides, you know lake life! I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, running, and health is definitely wealth. Exploring,  outdoors, hunting, gardening are some of my favorite hobbies. Going through life with good vibes and good energy is a must for me!

I am a passionate photographer who believes in capturing moments that create lasting memories. Whether it's a wedding, a family gathering, or a special event, my goal is to document those precious moments that are filled with love, laughter, and emotions. I am dedicated to providing my clients with high-quality images that they can cherish for a lifetime. I believe that every picture tells a story, and I strive to capture the essence of each moment in a unique way. With my camera in hand, I am ready to freeze time and create memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
